She Wolf Bakery is hiring for a full-time, daytime bread baker at our fast-paced production space in Long Island City.

Born out of a nightly baking shift in the wood oven at Roman's, She Wolf Bakery now supplies the bread served at Marlow & Sons, Diner, Reynard, Roman's, and Achilles Heel and fills the bread counter at Marlow & Daughters every day. Our bread is made entirely of organic grains mixed with a natural sourdough culture and absolutely no commercial yeast.

We're looking for someone with several years of experience mixing and fermenting naturally leavened breads, proficiency at hand forming baguettes as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. You should also value, above all, dedication to honest, hard work and classic techniques, and respect for coworkers and high quality ingredients.
