Background on Cider Week

Hard cider is one of the fastest growing beverage categories in the country, and Cider Week celebrates this by showcasing regional craft cider in top restaurants, bars, retail shops and markets throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley. For 10 days in the fall, Cider Week builds appreciation and demand for regional ciders through menu placements, tastings, flights, pairings, and events at restaurants and retailers like Blue Hill, Eleven Madison Park, Terroir, Gramercy Tavern, Spotted Pig, Eataly, Astor Wine Merchants, The Queens Kickshaw, New Amsterdam Market, and many other locations.

Cider Week was launched by agricultural nonprofit Glynwood in 2011, as part of the Cider Project, an effort to improve orchard viability in New York and beyond by fostering distinctive ciders and apple spirits. For more information visit: www.ciderweekny.com
