Job description

Are you looking for the most fun internship in the food world?  We have you covered. HeritageRadioNetwork.org is a non-profit radio station broadcasting from two repurposed shipping containers in the back of Roberta's Pizza in Bushwick, Brooklyn.  Since 2009 the Network has aired over 5,000 episodes of food and culture content.  Each week we host over 30 live shows covering all aspects of the food world from agriculture and policy to cocktails and chef stories.

Shows are archived on our website, available as a free download via iTunes or accessible via Stitcher Smart Radio.

We are currently seeking applicants for our 2014 team.  Tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Research (grants, equipment, food and media world, policy or agriculture issues, and more)
  • Administrative Support
  • Event or demo support 
  • Post production 
  • Public Relations
  • Graphi Design
  • Writing and Editing
We are seeking 2-4 part-time interns (2 days a week).  Applicants should be:
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Detail oriented

  • Team Player
  • Curious
  • Passionate about learning
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
