Job description

Eataly is looking for a full time Floor Manager for our Housewares & Book Department.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with retail, customer service, and preferably management experience who would like to learn & grow with our company.   Duties include scheduling and overseeing a crew of 3-4 employees, organizing and managing inventory, stocking, merchandizing, collaborating with other retail managers, and most importantly assisting customers.     

Requirements:
-  Minimum 1 year experience, preferably in management, with home and kitchen retail
-  Knowledge and interest in modern and traditional kitchenware, cookbooks, and food literature.
-  Very upbeat, friendly and customer service oriented
-  Organized and articulate
-  Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs
-  Detail oriented
-  Familiarity with Italian housewares brands preferred
-  Willing to work long hours, holidays and weekends (45-50 hrs/week)  

Salary $30,000-$40,000 DOE
