Job description
We are looking for an outgoing, passionate salesperson, who is responsible, reliable, and punctual to work in our booth at the Grand Central Holiday Fair. This is a full time seasonal position (5 weeks total), in a high volume indoor holiday market with an affluent and sophisticated clientele.
Ideal candidate must have gourmet food retail experience or have worked for a specialty retailer (such as Williams-Sonoma, West Elm, Sur La Table, or Dean & Deluca)
Qualifications/Skills:
Have 2+ years as a gourmet food salesperson
Excellent communicator
Knowledge of the Brooklyn food scene/food trends/products
Positive outlook
Works independently
Can handle high volume
Grace under pressure
Problem solver
Foreign language skills a plus
