About Good Eggs Good Eggs is a digital marketplace where shoppers connect with independent local food producers in and around their metro area (including farmers, ranchers, bakers, butchers, chefs). Shoppers place an order for their groceries from local producers on the Good Eggs website, then Good Eggs aggregates, packs & delivers the goods.

We are currently in startup-mode, honing our model in the San Francisco Bay Area before rolling out nationwide. Later this year we will launch operations in Brooklyn, LA, and New Orleans. Our main office in the Dogpatch neighborhood of SF is a unique combination of a bustling warehouse and a focused, beautiful workspace. We sit down to a locally-sourced lunch every day, made in house by our talented (some say magical!) chef.
About Foodmaker Intern Learning objective:As a startup combining technology and food operations, we’re able to offer an experience that’s unlike many others. Our foodmaker intern will learn about local food systems and economies, the varieties of small business models being employed by local food producers and community management and engagement.
Responsibilities:The foodmaker intern will work closely with our foodmaker team to bring new producers and products into our marketplace. Responsibilities include: assisting with product flow from foodmakers to the site including organizing product photo shoots, managing web stands, documenting food maker stories, preparing text to be published on the Good Eggs site and assisting with events and administrative tasks around the office.
Required qualifications:
- Food systems experience
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient user of web-based tools such as Google Drive, Expensify, online marketplaces
Time:
Full Time. Monday through Friday business hours and some weekend events.Summer (June to early September)
