HeritageRadioNetwork.org is an emerging non-profit Internet based radio station broadcasting Food Radio from two repurposed shipping containers in the back of Roberta's Pizza in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Each week we host over 27 live shows covering all aspects of the food world from agriculture and policy to cocktails and chef stories. Shows are archived on our website, available as a free download via iTunes or Stitcher Smart Radio.  

We are currently seeking a part-time Graphic Design Intern to help improve our internal and external design. This is a position for someone with graphic design knowledge and skill who is looking for some additional hands on experience.    

The internship begins in April for a period of 12-16 weeks.  

Responsibilities may include:

• Flyer and poster layout
• Design of weekly emails and monthly newsletters
• Logo development
• Additional design tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication
• Graphic design and layout skills
• Photoshop, In design and Illustrator skills
• Proficiency with HTML
• Flexible and open to feedback
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of and interest in food and agriculture a plus
