Brand new fish and chip shop with bar space attached looking for full time kitchen help. Be part of our opening team and help us get this place off to great start! 

Cooking experience and DOH food handler's certificate preffered. We are looking for someone who can juggle a few+ orders at once on their own, is hyper aware and has good timing skills. This job includes some basic cleaning and light dish washing as well as prepping, frying falafel, fish and chips and assembling sandwiches and salads.  

We are located on the lower east side and open 7 days a week for take out, delivery and eat in at our one kitchen table and counter. The kitchen is open and you face two huge windows while you cook. How's that for a nice day at work! Once the bar space is open the kitchen will continue to operate as a take out fish and chip shop as well as provide food for our bar patrons. The menu is focused and thoughtful and come summer we plan to start offering brunch. 

The owners are experienced, with another bar of 10 years under their belt. This is a start up and only a portion of the whole operation is up and running at the moment. We are looking to put together a good team full of creative, smart, hard working, interested, happy people who will help us grow and stay with us for while. 

The starting wage is $9/hr plus tips and as the business and your commitment grow, so will the pay.
