A local foods hospitality group is seeking an exceptional career professional to join our growing team as General Manager of the Burlington International Airport. Please DONT BE SCARED OFF BY THE WORD 'AIRPORT.' THIS IS A REMARKABLE OPPORTUNITY.

Here's the scoop: We are in the process of redeveloping the airport's food offerings to include two post-security 30-seat restaurants with a full kitchens, menus & bars and re-developing a pre-security kiosk on the first floor. The exceptional individual we are looking for will have the following qualities:

EITHER:

-At least 3 years of General Management experience in the food service industry, preferably 5 or more, including but not limited to: extensive experience hiring, training & managing a full team of employees (25+), ensuring the highest quality of guest service in both full & semi-service contexts, successfully managing full P&L responsibilities (controlling all margins & producing profitable results), ordering & inventory, maintaining health code standards, marketing, and more.

OR:

-At least 3 years of Executive Chef experience, preferably 5 years or more, including but not limited to: menu building & engineering, training & managing of staff, ordering & inventory control, proven ability to hit food & beverage margins, clear ability to enforce / maintain health code standards, experience sourcing & passion for integrating local food into your menus.

-A positive can-do attitude. Background check and pre-employment screening will be conducted due to the necessary security clearance required for this position. Compensation will be commensurate with the level of responsibility for this position.
