Love & Carrots is in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to be our Marketing and Garden Intern this fall and winter. Love & Carrots designs, builds, and maintains organically grown vegetable gardens and urban farms in the DC region. Our goal is to re-introduce home grown food as a common cultural practice, and to give people the assistance and skills they need to do it!  This internship offers the opportunity to grow with the company and lay claim to a permanent position in the near future.

The Internship requires a 3 month minimum commitment to work 3 days a week (no weekends). Compensation is School Credit, and priority consideration for hire in 2013 or earlier.

Successful applicants will demostrate the following:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, and/or busniess administration
  • Prior work experience in a small company
  • Design Skills (design program proficiencies are a plus)
  • Experience with websites and/or wordpress is a plus
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

The Marketing intern will get a taste of all aspects of Love & Carrots operations. You will learn a lot and be part of a small, close-nit team that loves what we do.
