Wilder has partnerships and work with West Elm, The New York Times and MoMa. Our readers and distribution are both international in spread.

About the Position:
Wilder Quarterly is seeking a Managing Editor to work with our editorial and art team. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized individual who is looking for a fulfilling passion project or to gain deeper publishing expierence.

In this position, you are ultimately responsible for the editorial production of the magazine and will help facilitate and participate in the brainstorming, creation and execution of all editorial. 

Responsibilities include: 
- Work closely with the Editor and Art Director to plan ambitious and jaw-dropping issues
- Supervise editorial production 
- Coordinate the Art and Editorial departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervise copy editing and fact-checking  
- Monitor the editorial budget
- Overseeing contributors

We are looking for:
- Someone who is passionate about publishing. You need not have necessarily worked in them for 10 years.
- Someone who is organized and loves to make things happen. 

Details:
- Most work will be done remotely as staff is located across the country. 
- This is a freelance position. You do this for the love, not the money although there is a fee per issue.
