61 Local, a public house located in Boerum Hill, is seeking a flexible barista  with great morning energy  and  experience behind a La Marzocco machine.We have a burgeoning coffee program with room to grow. We work closely with our Williamsburg based roaster and hope to bring someone in who is interested in that aspect of the coffee biz. This position entails serving espresso based beverages and french press coffee, extensive product knowledge, excellent customer service, and handling coffee orders closing down the coffee service at 5pm and lending support to our other staff behind the bar. Previous barista experience preferred,  8-24 hours a week, weekday hours only.

61 Local is a home for people to meet, mingle and imbibe. We also serve locally and regionally sourced craft beer, wine, kombucha and sodas all on tap, and have an expanding menu of small plates and snacks created from locally crafted products.
