Job Description
South Shore YMCA seeks a Farm/Nature Educator (Naturalist) for our Sandwich MA location, to establish Camp Burgess farm as an educational center focusing on all things connected with food production and sustainable living; using the farm to its maximum potential for providing food to the local community and promoting education through hands on experience and volunteering, and care for animals on-site, including the summer equine program. Will be responsible for the design, implementation and upkeep of the nature center and developing year round nature-based programs (Nature programs and volunteering opportunities accessible for people with wide ranging abilities). Will also provide extensive educational programming for the Sandwich High School Excel program.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Management or related field, plus 1-year experience in the job offered or in developing and implementing agricultural-based class-room/onsite education.
