Good Eggs (http://goodeggsinc.com) is a technology company that's driven by a mission to grow & sustain local food systems worldwide.

Our team has a track record of success. Our two cofounders were previously the founders of Aardvark (search startup acquired by Google in 2010) and Carbon Five (a leading provider of agile engineering services). Our engineering team is composed of lead developers from both companies.

Our evolving stack includes Node.js, MongoDB and Ruby. This is an opportunity for Ruby and/or JavaScript developers to learn from and contribute to an experienced team committed to collaboration, rapid iteration and continuous delivery.

Current Projects

We're building simple and intuitive tools to help local food producers around the world use creative new business models. We are working to support one time bagel popups, meals made to order, veggie box prepay-for-pickup at the farmers market, bread subscription for pickup at work, whole/partial animal sales direct from the rancher, and more.

Requirements
  • Extensive full-stack web application development experience in ruby, python, javascript, or java
  • A desire to collaborate on a team
  • Ability to make pragmatic engineering decisions quickly and move on
  • Demonstrable interest in learning and adopting new tools and techniques
  • A love of great food

  • Professional development experience with Node.js and MongoDB
