HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE . . .
Today is election day in the United States, and depending on where you live, you might be able to cast your ballots in various local, state or regional elections. Voting is one small step in holding yourself accountable. Regardless of what degree of faith you have in politics, the easiest thing to do is cast the ballots assigned to you. We hope that you are able to do so.
But accountability goes far beyond elected officials. We can only hold them accountable to the degree to which we ourselves are willing to be engaged. So don't stop making your vote count after 'the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November'. The world is in need of endless kindness, creativity, courage, compassion, energy, enthusiasm, justice, and care. Imagine a world where every person made an effort to both give and receive support at least once a day.
What are your plans to hold yourself accountable, today and every day?
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy
