THIS WEEK'S WORDS OF WISDOM . . .
might seem like an ironic proclamation coming from two people who hardly drink coffee. While caffeine doesn't sit right with either of us (and not for lack of trying), we can totally understand and appreciate those rituals put in place to bring pleasure and set a cadence to your day. Whether it's the motions of brewing the perfect cup, or the act of greeting people at your regular coffee shop, the aroma or flavor, or the actual stimulant that gets you going - we can honor the fact that certain ceremonies and traditions are designed to help us all move through the days and weeks in a way that holds meaning.
While we usually feature our own @goodfoodjobs Instagram images below / right each week, we wanted to highlight an image from one of our favorite coffee lovers, @moonandlune. The irony is that last Monday she posted the following message:
Off social media 5/23/16 - 5/23/17. Otherwise cultivating a seasonal life alongside my husband and the soil in rural Somewhere. downhomeblog.com
We're thankful that the digital world brought us together with Sam, but we love the pen pal nature of our relationship now - trading recipes and stories and thoughts and ideas. Whether by email or snail mail there is something so grounding in the way we are able to connect - in something that feels deeper than snapshots of her life seen in passing on Instagram. And that ritual of deep connection makes every day feel of value.
We hope that you cultivate your daily 'coffee' - in whatever form it might take.
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy

We've updated our Post a Job form (and our search filters) to include salary / hourly pay ranges, and the ability to tag jobs where an employer is willing to sponsor an international employee.
Change can be hard. If you have any comments or feedback, please chime in - especially if you see any (unintentional) glitches. We are so appreciative.
We're currently working on our homepage redesign. If you have any requests, suggestions, or constructive criticism, please don't hesitate to let us know.
