WE BELIEVE . . .
that one power, greatly underestimated, is that of asking questions. In a world that values experts and assuredness, asking questions may seem like you are decidedly unsure or (gasp!) don't have the answers. But here are a few things we know to be true:
1. You will never know everything. There is always more to learn.
2. The best indicator of intelligence? Curiosity.
3. If you want to connect in a meaningful way, asking genuine questions is one of the best routes.
We've been writing this newsletter for nearly a decade, and we're not afraid to admit that we don't know everything. I believe that we could write it for 100 more years, and there would still be so much to learn. Besides the ever-shifting nature of the ground beneath us, there are so many people to meet, so many stories to hear, we feel certain that we'll never tire of them.
That's why we're planning to start asking you some questions over the coming weeks / months. For example:
Do you have any interviewing horror stories to share? We'd love to hear them.
