HERE WE ARE AGAIN ...
Bombarded by messages of 'New Year, New You', urging us to translate all of the energy from our 'restful' break to blaze a trail into 2022.
And yet, we're exhausted already. And we have a feeling that you might be, too.
This is a short and sweet note to let you know that we are here. And we are human. Our response times may be a little slower than usual. And you may notice that the time stamp on our emails is well after traditional work hours. We continue to do our best to get to each and every job and email as fast as we can.
But we are dealing with the same things that many of you are: a heightened pandemic surge, confusing and conflicting CDC guidance, interrupted childcare, and quarantines. We are grateful to have flexibility in our hours - most especially these last two years.
We hope that you all are able to give yourselves and each other some grace and courtesy. People are stretched so thin right now - and there is no better antidote to the isolation and stress than the kindness between two humans.
To inching our way forward,
Tay + Dor

Until January 15th, Orion Magazine is accepting submissions for its Autumn 2022 issue, "which will reimagine the nature of our relationship with the land."
To all of the parents out there, who are somehow surviving through the surges (even if just barely).
The impossible equation when it comes to school shutdowns.
What Is Love? from the incredible duo, Mac Barnett and Carson Ellis, was just released and belongs in every child's home library.
