'TIS THE SEASON . . .
'The Holidays' mean different things to different people. Regardless of religious affiliation, we hope that everyone is able to make space in their life to unwind and to celebrate.
It's easy to get wrapped up (no pun intended) in the messages thrown at us. Whether spoken or not - the pressures can take a toll on your wallet and your energy reserves. There are likely many things you feel like you should be doing - buying or making things for family, friends, colleagues, and making the effort to see all of your loved ones or RSVP to every event. But in the end, everyone needs a break from running themselves ragged.
When you stop to think about it, what do you treasure about the holiday season? Giving can go well beyond a physical gift - spending time with someone, participating in a ritual, or taking some time to legitimately relax.
How do you stay sane, yet celebratory in the holiday season?
Cheers,

tidbits...
what we’re reading / listening to / watching / noticing / thinking about / captivated by this Tuesday…
This is real, true giving.
A side of history with your sufganiyot - although we like their theory about creating jobs, we encourage you to try making them at home, too.
If you were inspired by last week's GFJ Story, you can make a nonprofit donation to Project FEAST this holiday season, or work with them.
Are you a career fine dining waitress / server in the Southern United States, or do you know someone who is? Sara Brooke Curtis is looking to interview women about their experience serving others in fine dining restaurants, and she'd love to hear from you.
got a tidbit? drop it here for us, and you just might see it in next week's newsletter.
