THE ANTIDOTE TO FEAR AND UNCERTAINTY . . .
is not anger or despair. It is to show care.
When it seems like things can't get more overwhelming, the plights of the world, near and far, overflow with continued assaults on human dignity.
When we feel paralysis creep up, it's our cue to exercise the muscles that are built up over time - the ones that prove the best use of energy is to engage in acts of care, no matter how small.
It may feel futile, as if your small contributions could not possibly make any difference. But the smallest acts contribute to collective power. It's the voice of the status quo, the systems that keep us in toxic loops of fear, uncertainty, and shame, that says otherwise.
So do not be afraid to amplify a voice, open your wallet, feed a friend, share a warm embrace, do a favor, lend a hand, grant a wish, support a cause, feel joy, express gratitude, really listen, do better, show up and show you care.
Then teach and inspire others to do it. Again. And Again. And Again.
Every little bit helps,
