TAKE A BREAK . . .
You might have noticed that we're advocates for taking breaks. We write it down, and recommend it, and repeat it to ourselves again and again because sometimes it's harder to convince yourself than anyone else.
Living in a culture that rewards the busy and idolizes those that run on all cylinders, it's up to us to build in breaks for ourselves. It can be awkward. You might feel guilty. But practice makes perfect.
We're taking a break next week, to celebrate August, which is, in our neck of the woods, a month of blueberry picking and ice cream cones. And those are the two best reasons we can think of to live in the moment.
