FOR A RAINY DAY . . .
While we can't deny the power of a warm sunny day, there is something we love about the rain. It gives us a little bit of permission to slow down, to read, to get cozy. We get that the rain often makes things less convenient - and sometimes can add a little bit of misery - but today it's for transplanting seedlings that won't wither away in the heat, watching little ones take lingering lengthy naps, and slowing down enough to let ideas marinate and materialize. Sometimes those days that seem least productive wind up with the most productive outcomes.
