WE, THE FOUNDERS, OF GOOD FOOD JOBS . . .
are not historically religious folks. Neither of us grew up with strong religious roots. But as the years pass, we find that the most appealing things about any given religion have less to do with a superhuman controlling power and much more to do with the practicing and passing on of traditions.
We've always appreciated rituals: yearly picking and processing of fill-in-the-blank ripe fruit, a weekly croissant at your favorite bakery, a standing coffee date with a good friend, or sharing Rosh Hashana dinner with your Jewish friends or family. These routines provide comfort as well as connection.
What are your favorite rituals and traditions? We're always curious to know what folks take time to practice, and care about enough to pass on.
Cheers,
Tay + Dor

The founder of Grounded Women offers a chance to practice your photography skills amid the beauty of Woven Roots Farm, and the day includes a fresh-from-the-farm lunch.
And while there are certain rituals we'd like to avoid, here's some undeniably good advice to practice with the natural cycles of living and dying: How to Write a Condolence Note.
