The word 'sustainable' has been thrown around so much that it often seems devoid of meaning. In the spirit of Spring we feel a need to not only to sustain, but to awaken, enliven, and restore the Earth.
The fundamental meaning of the word ecology deals with how organisms interact with one another. Therefore ecological restoration - at its most basic - is connected to the way we act and what we believe.
For anyone that is looking to explore these ideas further, Eco Practicum is offering three scholarships to their upcoming program: RESILIENCE + RESISTANCE NYC // Radical Art and Ecology Aboard a Floating Food Forest
