WE LIVE IN A WORLD . . .
that is full of surprises. While it's easy to be bogged down in the day-to-day stresses and dramas - that seem to be continually more frequent and dire - we've learned to practice pause and look at everything in context.
This is not to say that we admit defeat or willingly surrender to the plagues of the world. But it does mean that in order to gain strength, comfort and courage we look to the mysterious yet magical parts of the world that inspire us.
We look to the stories of people with whom we can connect. We look to the stars that shine bright from distances farther than we can fathom. We look to the wonders of lives of all shapes and sizes (check out the video of the puffer fish in the tidbits below for proof).
Yes, there is endless work to be done. And we will keep doing it. Person by person, day by day, year after year. Every little step on the part of each person makes a huge collective difference. We may not come out on top, but we'll know we lived by what we believe in - and that is something.
Cheers,

tidbits...
what we’re reading / listening to / watching / noticing / thinking about / captivated by this Tuesday…
Our interest in livelihoods goes far beyond food. We're captivated by the differences in Eastern and Western medicine, and this write has the perfect analogy for it (that just happens to be food related).
A book recommendation for those who both afraid and hopeful: Savage Park by Amy Fusselman.
If you do one thing this week, watch this video. This is nature's magic in action.
got a tidbit? drop it here for us, and you just might see it in next week's newsletter.
