SOMETIMES IT SEEMS . . .
that the world around us values assurance over anything else. As if taking the wrong path will be turned right by simply doubling down.
We worry that if we change our minds, our stance, or our plans, someone might consider us inconsistent, inconsiderate, and / or lacking in commitment. And while we value sticking to something when it makes sense (even when that is sometimes uncomfortable), we also respect that life is too short to waste. Be open and honest with yourselves and others. Modeling that behavior will help show there's a grey area between steadfast allegiance and being a flake that is worth exploring.
To finding the balance between cancel culture and knowing what is good for you,
