NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY
I have job searched using GFJ. Now I am getting ready to hire two new staff people and will be posting on your site. LOVE IT. Thanks for all you do to grow the good food movement!
- Cassie, Job Poster
Thanks for being such a great centralized resource for all things great about food. I have been able to find some fascinating people in response to my post for an intern....it would have taken a long time to have corralled up such a great group of applicants without your site...and all for a very reasonable price!!
- Lara, Job Poster
As a former advertiser who left her career to pursue a life in good food, it's refreshing to see that there is a resource available to support this mission.
- Dimitra, GFJ Fan
We are so pleased to be of service.

You've heard this message from us before, but we think it bears repeating:
get out of your comfort zone
This means different things for different people, but above all, the ability to be vulnerable pushes us to learn new things, experience more, and wind up in places and circumstances far better than we ever anticipated were possible (if you don't believe us, see what expert Brene Brown has to say about it.)
If you are looking for inspiration, here are some ideas about how you can 'get out there':
-
Apply to work with us. We're hiring for a Communications Guru at Good Food Jobs. It's a flexible, part-time, 3-month position that you can do from anywhere that you have internet access. If you have been scared to apply, don't be. While we can't award the position to every single applicant, you never know what might come of getting to know us (or us getting to know you) when you throw your hat into the ring.
-
Let's Get Together. While we love the ability to use the internet and our computers as tools to increase our communication, those tools don't replace in-person interactions. In fact, they should be helping us to create more opportunities like this one.
-
Educate yourself. Sometimes putting yourself in a different environment makes a world of difference. Grad school might take up more time and funds than you have at the moment, but those barriers are lower thanks to the Good Food Jobs Scholarship for Sterling College's Vermont's Table 5-week summer session.
