Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

You know that we are all about positive thinking...but sometimes we just have to face it: it's okay (and natural) to express (and feel) frustration. It must be in the stars this week, because we are running into all sorts of technical glitches and hurdles that make everyday life just a little bit more difficult than usual.
Don't get us wrong - we have infinite things to be thankful for in both work and life, but sometimes we have to indulge in the realization that things aren't always as smooth as we'd like them to be.
If you are feeling the same, we hope that you can find a healthy outlet for venting, since expressing it (without harming anyone else!) is key. Everyone needs a little dose of therapy sometimes. Everybody. And most especially when it comes to job searching.
If you need an ear, we are always here. Sometimes all we need is to be heard. It's a simple need that can be hard to satisfy, and it's ultimately necessary for moving forward in the most effective and confident way possible.
In the meantime, if you'd like a chance to change your luck, or just perk up your pantry with a special prize (see below) enter our latest Instagram challenge:
We want to know: what do you love about YOUR workspace? Do you take an ice cream cone break mid-day? Do you play a certain kind of music to boost your mood? Do you hang a DO NOT ENTER sign on your door? Or schedule an afternoon pick-me-up convo with a friend? Do you prefer the early AM or work into the night?
We want to hear (or, ahem, SEE) what makes your work space so special. Submit a photo to our latest GFJ Instagram challenge using the hashtag #workitGFJ. The photo with the most likes by 8 AM on Tuesday, October 1st wins a modern lunch box from Provisions - so you'll have no excuse to 'forget' about lunch during your busy workday ;)
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy

What goes better with food than education? So many of us are inspired to learn through food, or inspired to eat by learning - about where the food came from, or who made it, or why it tastes the way it does. Jordyn had already made the connection between food and education when she came up with the idea to merge them together with social justice. Her story is a testament to how far we can go when our passion fuels us. Read More
