Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

We're celebrating summer's official-ness by announcing the winner of our #FarmFreshGFJ Instagram Challenge! With nearly 450 likes, yossyarefi captured the bounty of the strawberry season - one of our personal favorites. It's always so hard to bake them into something when it's so easy to just eat them, warm and tender from the sun, in their perfect, raw state. Sigh. But we do wish we were there to taste the jams, pickles, and pie that these particular strawbs were headed for...
We can't help but mention a few honorables (click on the images to learn more about their makers) . . .
Is your imagination sparked? Do you find yourself compelled to head straight to the market / farm stand / field? Well then, you are primed for the next GFJ Instagram Challenge! More details will be coming soon, but the deadline will be at the end of July, and the topic will be what you (or someone you admire) is growing in their garden / windowbox / sunny kitchen counter. So get growing.
Happy Summer,
Taylor & Dorothy
