GFJ INSTAGRAM CHALLENGE
To celebrate our involvement in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History's American History Food Project Kitchen Cabinet, we asked, what's in your kitchen cabinet?
The results are in! It was a close call, but @Gustiamo sealed the deal with the photograph of their always drool-worthy kitchen cabinet stash. Congratulations! You have more delicious goods coming to line your pantry.

As we wind down from Independence Day weekend, it occurs to us that there's not only a great debt of gratitude for this fundamental freedom we have, but also a huge responsibility. How are we going to exercise these rights to create something of real substance and meaning? How can we create and contribute to our communities?
Perhaps this week's Words of Wisdom says it best: do one thing every day that scares you. This week we're most certainly going for it.
On Thursday Taylor is heading to Portland, OR for the World Domination Summit. If you recall, she won the ticket as a part of The Hundred Dollar Club's WDS Ticket Giveaway back in April.
Taylor determined that it was her duty to make good use of the generous ticket, so when she saw that WDS was accepting applications for attendee stories (like this one from a few years back), she threw her hat into the ring. Turns out, she landed at the intersection of hard work, creativity, and very good fortune yet again. Out of hundreds of applications she was picked as one of 12 attendees to share her 2-minute story on stage.
On stage?! Yes. In front of 3,000 people. Eek.
While we're no stranger to public speaking we've yet to encounter a crowd of this magnitude. So yes, this week we're certainly practicing what we preach.
We're doing our part and we're hoping you join us. What is the leap you are going to take? Attend an event? Apply for a job? Apply for a scholarship? Enter your product into a competition? Start a seed? Say yes? Say no?
In case you are looking for some inspiration, here are some ideas:

Big Spoon Roasters
You may need to pause in the middle of reading this interview to go get a spoonful of peanut butter and something to wash it down with. Peanut butter is one of those products that feels always classic AND modern. It's a simple pantry staple, but Mark managed to find a rich history and heritage behind it, spurred on by his own appreciation of food, passed down from generation to generation. A big spoon is necessary, indeed. Read More
