HAPPY SUMMER . . .
This week marks the official start to the summer season. While Mother Nature marks her calendar with the solstice on Wednesday, June 21st, the kickoff to a season that can be full of frenzied activity or deep relaxation is different for everyone. In the Northern hemisphere, it's often marked by spikes in temperature, the end of a school year, or the appearance of local strawberries. Whatever your Summer barometer, we hope that you use this season to continue to expand your knowledge, no matter what else is on your plate.
Those who are about to graduate, or simply say goodbye to yet another school year, might think it's time to put down the books, but we think it's the perfect time to remind you that education need not be confined to a traditional classroom. Our Education page highlights dozens of opportunities - both traditional and alternative - to learn, even including a reading list in case you need some fodder for these upcoming months. Do you know of a program that should be on our list? Let us know.
After all, the universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for your wits to grow sharper.
Cheers,

PS We're still collecting wisdom for upcoming or recent graduates, as well as questions from those about to embark on a time of transition, and looking for guidance. Do you have something to share? Please reach out as we spend one more week gathering feedback. For some inspiration on the topic, check out WNYC's Death, Sex & Money podcast which recently reminded us that 'comparison is the thief of joy'.
