I totally read the newsletter every week! It's a nice, regular reminder to keep looking, because eventually a great job will make itself known. And it's always inspiring to read your stories and the other gastrognome interviews. Keep it coming!

While we appreciate a day, a week, or a month off just as much as the next person, we also feel that the only thing worse than being burnt out is being bored.
We've taken great strides to create a business that will nearly 'run itself,' but only in service to putting the bulk of our attention toward growth, having more fun, and developing the site in a way that is meaningful to us and to you.
To that end, we've been spending the start of 2013 (can anyone believe that January is already half over?!) on some housekeeping items, keeping the site current, and building tools and resources that allow you to do your jobs, as job seekers and food professionals, better:
what you see:
-
A stronger site header. There is no longer a need to scroll back up through 50 jobs to get back to the header navigation. Sometimes the little things are so satisfying!
what you don't see:
-
Some back end changes that make both our job (and thereby your lives) way easier. It's awesome, we promise.
what you will see:
-
For the job posters, a streamlined Job Edit process. Which hopefully means more great jobs for all you seekers out there to apply to.
-
A blog homepage redesign. Intrigued?! Stay tuned.
-
Miscellaneous secret web developments. (Duh, that's why they are a secret!)
what you want to see:

Hey, we're not mind readers. If you want us to add something in particular to our agenda, let us know. We're all ears.
Here's to an endless evolution. There's always more to be done, and more fun to be had.
Cheers,

Many of us have survived growing up under the refrain 'eat your vegetables', only to blossom into voracious consumers of broccoli. Was it because that line ate its way into our childhood subconscious until it would ultimately influence our adult decision-making? Or is it just because broccoli tastes so good? Mickey is arguing for the latter, and we have the feeling that she doesn't come across many fruit-and-vegetable-phobes who can resist her propaganda. Read More
