NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY
We posted this intern position two months ago, with lackluster results, and then were flooded with incredible candidates over a three day period last week when it was posted on Good Food Jobs. Clearly, you have a big impact!

Seems like GFJ is starting to be the place to go. I have never had much response to ads on other sites but GFJ scored me some great resumes for our Forager position.
- Christophe, Job Poster
Many thanks for all that you do for foodies like me who want to connect and continue to grow, both personally and professionally in this space.

We're so glad to be of service.

. . . IT'S WHO YOU KNOW
But we don't mean it in the smarmy, 'networking' way, we just genuinely believe that you learn a lot by making friends.
Taylor's Dad taught her from a young age that you never know what you can learn from someone, and it's served her well ever since. She makes friends everywhere she goes, and is learning more from them every day.
This past week she made 8 new friends - her students at Sterling College's Vermont's Table Program. She feels slightly guilty, as she's already learned just as much - if not more - from them, as they have learned from her Food Entrepreneurism class.
Reaching out and getting together is on our minds this month, as ever. In an effort to practice what we preach, we've designed some new ways to motivate you to get connected. Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on:
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy

Hey, you! Aspiring farmer that's perusing the GFJ web pages for opportunities to intern or apprentice on a farm this season! What questions do you have about embarking on an agricultural lifestyle? Is it how to find the perfect plot of land? How to break the news to your parents? Or where to find farm equipment?
Chances are, if you have any beginning-farmer-related inquiry, Severine will have an answer (or at least be able to send you to someone who does!)
STUDY UP
To get a feel for Severine and her scope of expertise and interest, watch the Greenhorns documentary trailer, or better yet, read the new book, Greenhorns: 50 Dispatches from the New Farmers' Movement.
