NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY
"You guys have created something very important and so worthwhile"
- Nicole, Job Poster
"I just want to say thank you. I am one of those people that is looking for specific steps to be able to apply my passion for urban agriculture to my profession. Your newsletter helped confirm that even small steps make a big difference."
- Jessica, Job Seeker
"When looking for an intern for my small wine business, I was happy to find Good Food Jobs. My ad generated so many excellent, food-centric applicants that instead of just bringing on one intern, I now have a squad of contributors with the exact qualifications I was hoping to find."

Hello Friends and Food Lovers,
If multiple snow storms and too much internet interaction make you feel isolated, get "out there". Even in rural VT we've managed to meet great folks pursuing priceless projects - an entrepreneur launching a locally sourced pizza delivery company, the editor of Farming trade magazine, and the food systems coordinator for The Skinny Pancake (just to name a few from this past weekend; FYI we met them all at the Hill Farmstead Brewery Winter Beer Gathering . . . they are having round 2 on Saturday February 12th and there are a dozen tickets still left in case you're looking to taste some special brews).
And this week we have more chances to meet up with great gastronomes - aspiring and otherwise. On Friday we'll address the students at Yale University regarding summer jobs and life beyond university (if you have ideas, inquiries, or are looking to hire for this summer, drop us a line at info@goodfoodjobs.com), and on Saturday we'll be at TedxManhattan (if you'll be there let us know and we can plan to say hi in person; if not, you should plan a viewing party or watch it live on your own computer).
It's hard to get the winter blues with so much exciting stuff going on around us.
Stay warm out there,
Taylor & Dorothy

Allison Boomer
Founder
Eco-Concious Food Marketing
Although we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Allison in person, we already know that she is a woman driven by taste. It may seem like a cliche that someone interested in food would follow their mouth to happiness, yet Allison’s path is unique. We are struck by how patient she was in letting the journey lead her to the destination. She waited more than two decades to reach the perfect combination of skills and duties that turned her into a food entrepreneur - launching her company Eco-Concious Food Marketing. Her story is a good reminder that the job you choose fresh out of college may not be the one that employs you down the road – and that’s an exciting prospect. Read more
