Apprentice Program– 2019 Season
This is our 5th growing season together, and this is the 2nd year of our apprentice program. We started our apprentice program last season to allow us to share our love of flower farming and to help train aspiring flower farmers.
Our apprentices are an integral part of our team and learn all aspects of flower farming – from fieldwork, to harvest and post-harvest handling of flowers, design work and so much more. This year we are also expanding into limited vegetable production, so our apprentices will learn to grow vegetables as well as flowers.
We are tailoring our apprentice program to build into a 2-year position, for candidates that may be interested in staying two years. The first year will be a generalized track learning all facets of farming and the second year we will work with the apprentices to design their season’s work based on their skills and interests.
