Sōw ’s mission is to serve exceptional, in-season, organic juice combinations individually crafted to order in San Francisco, CA. Using only produce sourced directly from California farms, our vision is to build a sustainable juice bar and kitchen retail model that operates with high integrity and outstanding hospitality.
About Us
Sōw Juice is an independently owned, San Francisco based, culinary driven juice bar crafting unique juice combinations fresh to order using only the highest quality, organic, in-season and California grown ingredients. We are opening a charming outdoor kiosk at the beloved San Francisco Ferry Building and are looking for team members who take pride in making a quality product, offering outstanding service and value supporting our local food system.
About the Position
We are looking for personable, responsible and dynamic people with food/beverage industry experience, preferably specialty retail, who understand and appreciate what it takes to craft a quality product with integrity and a sense of urgency. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining a variety of ingredients to efficiently craft consistent signature juice combinations to order
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space
- Offering genuine hospitality, meeting customer needs and exceeding their expectations
- Ownership of day-to-day operational procedures and kiosk needs
- Cash handling and inventory management
Qualifications
Ideal candidates:
- Have previous, relevant specialty food and/or beverage industry experience
- Work diligently and with a sense of urgency
- Understand the importance of high touch customer service
- Value organic and sustainable agriculture and supporting local food systems
- Take initiative, enjoy working independently and as an integral part of a small team
- Are ServSafe Certified
- Are able to lift up to 50lbs
