Brand Experiences Manager Tasting Table

Job Description Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

Tasting Table has an immediate opening for an experienced events manager to join our Brand Experiences team in our New York City office. Reporting into the Brand Experiences Director, this manager will work collaboratively with sales and marketing to lead the execution and measurement of integrated marketing activations, brand events (including TT's tentpole The Lobster Rumble) and partner promotions.

Responsibilities include budget management, day-to-day client management and consumer marketing efforts (PR, barter, social, etc). This full-time position requires a high degree of organizational and project management skills and a positive, pro-active attitude with obsessive attention to detail. Please note, this role requires a minimum of 4 years of event/project management experience. Motivation, resourcefulness and enthusiasm are musts.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day aspects of sponsored events/programs including: logistics, budgets, contract negotiation, restaurant recruitment, chef talent recruitment, ticket sales, event promotion and marketing, social media, vendor relations, sponsor coordination, on-site production, digital/printed collateral and post project recaps/surveys
  • Liaise with sponsors to ensure all sponsorship benefits are being delivered
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality control across all programming (both company and sponsored)
  • Work with multiple TT departments to coordinate event-related social media strategy, art and tech elements as required by a program
  • Maintain a database of venues, vendors, restaurants and chefs across the country
  • Ideate new and inventive ways to bring brands to life at events
  • Manage event budgets and timelines
  • Establish SOPs and create optimizations and efficiencies across process and budget
  • Participate in brainstorms with sales and marketing teams to create innovative experiences for our partners
 Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of experience in event planning/project management
  • Positive attitude, personable and energetic
  • Ability to work as a team player and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proven ability to implement an event from concept to completion, paying close attention to details while never losing sight of the big picture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and negotiate budgets
  • Strong project management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Working knowledge of the national food scene including chefs, restaurants and food trends is preferred
  • Advanced computer knowledge (Mac experience preferred), including google docs, pages, keynote and photoshop
