Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream is hiring for all positions for our new location in Williamsburg!

POSITIONS: ICE CREAM SCOOPER, BARISTA/SCOOPER, and SHIFT SUPERVISORS
PART TIME & FULL TIME
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Food Service Experience
• Barista Experience strongly preferred
• Latte art and espresso knowledge a major plus
• Open Availability (mornings, evenings, weekends)
• Trustworthy, Organized, Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to effectively work well as part of the team and autonomously
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness.
• Current Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
TEAM MEMBER BRIEF
• Represent the Van Leeuwen brand
• Maintain high standards of our current and growing ice cream, pastry and coffee program.
• Follow all store protocols and rules.
• Effectively communicate with other team members, owners and manager.
• Maintain systems to ensure a clean and tidy store at all times.
• Sound food handling and cleaning practices.
• Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed.
• Promote an environment of fun, kindness and respect.
COMPENSATION
Hourly, plus tips.

• Food Service Experience
• Open Availability (mornings, evenings, weekends)

• Ability to effectively manage a team and lead by example.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness.
• Barista experience a major plus (but not a necessity).

STORE MANAGER BRIEF
• Represent the Van Leeuwen brand

• Manage store operations: Scheduling, ordering of dry goods and other supplies, cash management and deposits, hiring and training new employees, facilities upkeep.
• Effectively communicate with other company departments to ensure store needs are met.
• Maintain and enforce systems to ensure a clean and tidy store at all times.
• Promote and enforce sound food handling and cleaning practices.
• Inspire cooperation within the team, lead by example.
• Promote an environment of fun, kindness and respect.
COMPENSATION
Based on experience. Hourly, plus tips.
