Come join our growing team! The Jasper Hill Family of Businesses includes two farms, two creameries, a cheese aging facility, as well as the sales and administrative team. Our company thrives on producing the highest quality product possible. We are devoted to cultivating the working landscape of Vermont through dairy farming. We are bringing the Jasper Hill experience to Boston through a stall at the Boston Public Market.
THE POSITION
We are looking for motivated, energetic and talented cheese mongers to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We will be serving and cutting the Cellars at Jasper Hill cheeses along with creating simple yet delicious grilled cheese, mac n’cheese and raclette. This is a great position for someone who likes knowing about food products and sharing their passion with customers. - Serving and cutting the Cellars at Jasper Hill cheeses
- Preparing and serving grilled cheese, raclette and mac n’cheese
- Providing excellent customer service while being an ambassador for all things cheese
- Being a team player and keeping a clean working environment
- Love of cheese
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with basic cooking
- Retail/cheese experience
- Starting wage is $11-$13/hr
- This is a part time position that includes working both weekend days
