Job Description We're currently seeking a full-time head barista with a genuine passion for coffee, espresso, and fresh/local/organic food from the Hudson Valley. At Murray's we pride ourselves on pairing La Colombe's "culinary coffee" with our seasonal weekly brunch menus. Murray's works exclusively with dozens of local farms and food producers and our menus change weekly based on what's seasonally available and delicious. Murray's is a destination for coffee + food for thought. requirements:
1. have barista/server-related experience
2. be able to work under stressful and busy situations
3. be able to multi-task/delegate
4. have experience with a POS or POS-equivalent system
5. have a high standard for service
6. be able to think quickly on their feet
7. be punctual (have reliable transportation)
8. be hardworking
9. have strong skills in preparation of espresso/coffee drinks
10. be able to handle standing for long periods of time
