Job Description Position: Even Supervisor/Weekend Event Host
Schedule: Irregular. 40-45 hours a week.  Weekends are required
Pay: 35K-40K DOE

Our culinary adventures include an ever-growing variety of classes, parties, camps and special events that combine a well-balanced mix of engaging recipes, both savory and sweet, as we take to the kitchen to sprout taste buds and a good time. We support kids, families and food and strive to create a lifestyle around connecting, learning and growing in the culinary playgroup of the kitchen.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a hard working and detail-oriented Event Supervisor! The Event Supervisor will oversee and host our full range of culinary events to ensure consistency and create a valuable loyal client base. It will be the Event Supervisors responsibility to train and utilize our smiling crew to their full potential! In addition the Event Supervisor will serve as our weekend Event Host and Substitute Host when needed. This position reports directly to the GM.

Task at hand:
  • Customer service & creating loyal clients. At the events the supervisor attends he or she will be expected to directly interact with customers. 
  • Constantly monitor/evaluate events and their content closely to meet and exceed client expectations. 
  • Train new staff. 
  • Attend TBK's events on and off site.  
  • Make any adjustments or take corrective action as required. 
  • Conduct in person reviews of all event staff. 
  • Work with the GM and CEO to address and implement any revisions to our events or event material (recipes, guides, manuals) 
  • Host Events on the weekends and act as an emergency substitute if an employee cannot attend their shift
Who are you?
  • 1 - 2yrs supervisory experience. Direct interaction with employees is required. 
  • VERY detail oriented with a critical eye. 
  • Proficient knowledge in all culinary skills - baking, cooking, recipes, etc. Culinary School preferred. 
  • Ability to stand for the majority of shifts. 
  • Basic knowledge of Mac - Pages & Numbers. 
  • Natural curiosity and passion for food & culinary entertainment. 
  • MUST have weekend availability
Compensation:
35K-40K, DOE

Schedule:
This position will NOT have a regular or set schedule. We hold events 7 days a week from 8am to 11pm. You must be able to attend events within that range. This a position will require approximately 40-45 hours a week. The time will be comprised of evaluating 4-5 events per week in addition to all necessary documentation/meetings/office work.
