OXO was founded on the philosophy of Universal Design; the designing of products for the largest spectrum of users. With the introduction of OXO cooking tools in 1990, the bar was raised for consumer expectations of comfort and performance in everyday objects. Today, OXO offers more than 850 tools for cooking, cleaning, organization, baby and more. The International Sales Assistant, reporting to the Director of International Business, will support the international sales team. This position supports the supply chain manager and members of the sales team by providing administrative support such as preparing for meetings, coordinating samples, following up on customer and distributor requests and entering purchase orders.  Role acts as the key point of contact for customers and suppliers in the Sales Managers’ and Supply Chain Manager’s absences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates presentation materials and appropriate samples for international meetings with key retailers or distributors
  • Coordinates product sample mailings
  • Acts as point-of-contact in the Sales Manager’s or Sales Director’s absence
  • Sets up and approves new accounts
  • Compiles data for Sales Team i.e., product rankings, product cubes & weights, customer sales reports, product sales reports
  • Item set up of new products
  • Handles and processes sample requests from internal and external parties
  • Keeps OXO Resource Center updated with information pertinent to the international customers
  • Creates, updates, and modifies customer-specific planograms
  • Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 1-2 years work experience in a support role or relevant internship
