Murray’s Cheese, New York’s cheese mecca, is currently seeking an E-Commerce Manager to oversee the development and performance of our website and online presence. The essential functions that the E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for includes identification of website business goals and strategy in collaboration with Marketing and Senior Management, prioritization and management of website projects and campaigns in support of business goals, definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for online engagement (including sales, site traffic and behavior, email effectiveness, content interaction and social engagement), development of a roadmap to improve KPI performance using SEM, SEO, Site Optimization, Email, Content Marketing, Social Media, KPI performance monitoring over time and identification of short- and long term trends, and an understanding and communication about correlation and causation of KPI trends.
The ideal candidate has three or more years of experience in Ecommerce and/or Web Production and/or Project Management of Ecommerce or CMS software, a sophisticated understanding of Google Analytics and Adwords functionality, content marketing, email and social media best practices, familiarity with Magento capabilities and operation, a general understanding of data analysis and reporting and retail operations, front end web development (HTML, CSS), Crystal Reports and/or Marketing or Sales experience is a plus, and, last but certainly not least, an enthusiasm for cheese and gourmet foods!
