Chewse is the simplest way for groups to order quality food. We help offices create a personalized meal program for their office to help nourish their company culture. We believe strong communities are built over sharing food, and we want to deliver that to offices everywhere. We are a very small, fast-moving team, and we have already sold 100,000+ meals. Our company is located in SoMa, San Francisco, but currently serves Los Angeles as our first market. Our team loves to build community around food. We think amazing things can happen when you share a great meal together, and we have made this a central part of our company culture. Position Description:

Who We are Looking For:

We are looking for people that are passionate and hungry enough to work alongside us. If you want an environment where you are excited to come in everyday to work with a smart, friendly, passionate team, join us at Chewse! The ideal candidate is comfortable selling on the phone, and organized enough to juggle hundreds of contacts at once. We’re still early enough that you have the opportunity to move up quickly, help build more effective processes, and experiment with new initiatives; we’re looking for people who can help build and set the bar for sales success within our organization. As an early hire, it’s important that you’re comfortable with ambiguity and an open working culture. We thrive on being self-managed and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities:
  • Building, growing, and iterating on our current sales process, while being successful within it
  • Prospecting for new business leads
  • Pitching to new businesses
  • Reporting sales metrics and analytics
  • Managing all inbound and outbound communications though both phone and email
Requirements:

  • Metrics driven – you understand what your Key Performance Indicators are and orient your workflow around achieving them.
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized. You have no problem staying on top of hundreds of potential accounts.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity – While we’ve grown quite a bit, there’s still a lot to figure out, and you’ll have to be comfortable with not having all the answers.
  • Comfortable selling on the phone.
  • Excited to spread the word about Chewse – you love what we do and want to spread the word.
Desirables:
  • 1-2 years previous phone sales experience
  • Experience with SaaS, marketplaces, or food/tech
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience
