Responsibilities
- Responsible for food and labor cost control for the pastry operation
- Responsible for the production of morning pastry, scones, muffins, etc.
- Manage the production of desserts, tarts, bars, cookies, and cakes
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all pastry products
- Manage inventory and shelf life of all finished pastry products
- Maintain a clean and organized production space
- 2-5 years experience producing artisan, scratch-made pastry
- A dedication to the highest quality product possible
- Creativity: you will be responsible for any new pastry products
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Be detail oriented in following recipes exactly as instructed
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- A culinary degree in baking and pastry from a top school is highly preferred
