Cook 'n Scribble, the online food writer's community, is presenting the LongHouse Food Writers Revival in Renselaerville, NY on September 15. This one-day, single subject conversation features some of the nation's leading food thinkers and is dedicated to "Old Media, New Media and the False Divide." The event includes a "Pop-Up Food Magazine," multimedia presentations, intimate conversations, a farm-to-table dinner and a 3-pig roast.

We are seeking an intern with significant video production/editing experience to assist in creating stunning, original video content - primarily capturing and editing oral histories - for our Pop-UP Food Magazine. Candidate should love food, food stories and food people, be computer savvy, have his/her own camera and computer, be well-trained in video editing, intredpeid, hardworking, well-organized, self-motivating and fun.

This is a 2 week, un-paid internship for immediate hire, full time, that offers particpation in the event, printed and digital acknowlegement and the possiblitiy of growing into a paying position in a fast growing, forward looking team of content creators. Intership will provide top-of-the-line acess to media leaders in the food world. 

Candidate will join a fun, hard-working team of producers and content creators in Rensselaerville, NY between September 4-September 16 to collect and edit video for the event. Transportation, housing, fantastic food and fun will be provided!

Responsiblities:
-shooting original, documentary-style video material on a variety of subjects, conducting short video interviews, etc.
-editing video footage into short, visually stunning videos for our Pop-UP Food Magazine presentation on September 15.
-organizing video and audio material
-creating finished video product on a deadline

Qualifications:
-love of food, history, and multimedia storytelling
-expertise in videography and shooting documentary-style video
-computer skills
-amazing video editing skills using video footage, photography and audio
-ability to bring own camera and computer greatly preffered 
-ability to work on a deadline
-extremely organized
-loves working with a fun, creative, imaginative team
